Can bilge pumps (for pumping water out of a boat) be used in a Water Cooling system? I have seen some High GPH (750-1100) bilge style pumps for about $20-$30.

That is one of my concerns also, that is why I thought I would ask to see if anyone has any experiance with them.

Well as far as I've heard the OCH res uses a 500GPH bilge pump and its nothing but toruble. Those are not meant to run 24/7 and alot of people have had trouble with them becoming noisy and failing after very short times.

bilge pumps aren't made to run 24/7; Don't risk fryin your cpu on a cheap pump
