^ So not running an Nvidia(fresh os the only build is the new rig) pegged out at 98% usage 48°C

It is folding and uploading but it seem that I'm getting 2h26m tpf which doesn't seem right on a ATI 5870 1gb running project 13000 (265, 3, 21)

Last two lines seems to be the issue and I can't remember/find how to fix this issue again. Running client 7.4.4 running ccc 14.1 drivers.

Cpu is chuggin wus like a freight train. Still at stock though:rofl:for now!!

My AMD R9 280Xs (re-branded 7970GHz Ed.) take about 10 - 15 minutes to start folding whenever I pause folding or get a new WU.

Can't check what the tpf was for them when they were folding a 13000 WU, not folding one right now. But the time from download to completion was in a range from 12 - 15 hours according to HFM.net work history.

Im running 2 13000's right now, one with 7970 and other with 280x, so the same cards, but im getting about 6m41s tpf or about 11.5 hours per wu. Alot of times if you get a work unit for the first time it comes up with off the wall tpf's and it has to run 4 or 5 steps before giving an accurate number.

No idea what TPF should be on a 5870  That card is a little long in the tooth....

Did you dedicate a cpu core to gpu ????

Likely won't have any effect on your ppd but consider updating drivers to rule out any driver caused instability. Latest WHQL-certified driver

Temperature control disabled. Requirements: single Nvidia GPU, tmax must be < 110 and twait >= 900
Gets reported in the log regardless of installed gpu.

seems about right. my 7770 is doing 20min per fold. maybe set the cpu to 4 or 6. wont affect the cpu client much but might help the gpu gain some time.

Just downloaded 14.4 I could have sworn I downloaded that the first time but after checking again device mngr said I was using 14.1 we'll see what it says once it installs again.

**EDIT**

Ok so using the link you listed 14.4 shows up as > 14.100.0.0 in device manager it was the one I had downloaded earlier.

I use GPU-Z to see what's going on with my GPUs.
Note what it says about driver version: 14.100.0.0 (Catalyst 14.4)
Confused me too.
